To give a new dimension to the higher education system and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution.

Objective NSS

• > To enable the students to understand the community in which they work;
• > To understand themselves in relation to their community;
• > To identify the needs and problems in the community and provide the solutions of which they can be involved;
• > To develop among themselves a sense of social and civic responsibility
• > To apply their education in finding practical solution to individual and community problems.
• > To gain skills in mobilizing community participation;
• > To acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude;
• > To develop capacity to meet emergencies and national disasters; and to practice the sense of national integration.

Events

It would be of some importance to mention the details of the ideal programs undertaken in regular activities & special camps through the contribution of the NSS unit of the college:

• > In College, the "One Tree for You" scheme was implemented & develop “Green campus" during drought full condition
• > In Daregaon & Panewadi, C.C.T. Pits and soil canal construction for water conservation
• > Arranged programs on plastic Awareness, “say no plastic, save the environment” movement rallies, Street play & distributed cloth bags in Manmad & surrounding neighborhoods villages.
• > Conducted Road safety activities & workshops for students, aware of driving rules, and safe driving
